Agent2004 Upgrade instructions.
  Upgrading necessitates first changing many of the data files held in the main 2000data folder. These can be changed by posting, in person or by emailing the folder to us, (preferably zipped to increase download speed). Once these are sent you must only use Agent2000 for reference. Don't change anything on the system. When the files are returned you can still use the old version as before.  
  The second part needs you to download this file (agtfiles,zip). Extract the file "Agtfiles.exe" and save to a convenient location on your hard drive. Once saved it is simply a matter of opening, (running) "agtfiles.exe". The installation is protected and the password will be mailed upon receipt of the upgrade payment.  
 

As all files in the C:\agent2000 folder are overwritten I suggest the following before running the install file:-

Open My Computer and open the C: drive. Right click on Agent2000 and left click on Rename. Select any name you wish, I would suggest, for historical reasons, "Oldagent"

  
  Any reports you may have customised will then need to be copied to the new C:\Agent2000 from the old Agent folder. Beware however there are new fields in many of the reports which will not be available if you use your old ones.
